CONCERT COSTUMES: As per the first newsletter of the year, costume money needs to be paid before the June school holidays as Mrs J and I travel to Thailand to purchase the costumes during those holidays.
Fee for each costume this year will be $60..Please keep in mind that should we not spend all your money you will receive a refund. Also note that in most cases the costumes are given to you completed..meaning you don’t have to make anything yourself or have the hassle of purchasing material, patterns and either making it yourself or paying a dressmaker. Some costumes may cost more than the $60 and you will be invoiced accordingly.
Costume money should be paid directly to Mrs J..
DO NOT GIVE ANY COSTUME MONEY TO ME... alternatively place it in the money box in the dressing room.
Your envelope should clearly state the childs name and what classes they are in and the total amount enclosed..Cheques should be made out to Mrs E Jarrott.
We cannot buy costumes unless they have been paid for. In the past we have made the mistake of purchasing for those who hadn’t paid (thinking we were doing the right thing) only to find out that they had no intention of dancing in the concert and we were left with the costume and out of pocket.
CONCERT MUSIC: Alot of the music for concert groups has been chosen and some groups started. Please start bringing in blank CD-R cds and I will burn your music for practice at home. The younger tap and jazz groups will have their dances written out and placed on the noticeboard..if the children are having a problem remembering the steps, perhaps it would be a good idea to buy an exercise book and write the steps out each week to help them.
