GRADES BALLET EXAMS

BALLET EXAM ENTRIES: Entries for this years ballet exams must be handed in to me no later than Saturday 30th May along with the form at the bottom of this page.
Costs are as follows:
Pre-primary: $43
Primary: $57
Grade 1: $63
Grade 2: $73
Grade 3: $80
Grade 5: $91
Piano fee this year will be $40 to be added to your entry fee. For those new to exams, the Academy insists that the children dance to piano rather than the CD they are used to in class...go figure..!! Anyhoo, the nearest pianist capable of the task is in Rockhampton so we must pay his travel, accommodation, food and playing fees.
Additional Cost will be $50 for the classes during the June school holidays. These will be held from Saturday 27th June to Tuesday 30th June. The children will receive 5 classes during these 4 days. These classes are compulsory for exam students.
Also note there is an exam uniform as set by the Royal Academy of Dance.
An additional practice time with the pianist will be held prior to the exam at a date to be confirmed. There will be no charge for this day. Exam day is usually toward the end of July or early August.

Cheques should be made out to Dee Jays School of Dance. Cash payments are preferred.
Please also note that classes must be attended on a regular basis.. Home practice is essential..
Those who miss classes will not be permitted to do the exam regardless of whether the entry fee has been paid or not. This is a serious commitment and should only be undertaken when the parents and the child understand that good results can only be achieved with hard work..
