Hello from Thailand

Hello all. Just a quick note to let you know that we are still alive and having a fabulous time. We spent the first week up in the jungle riding elephants, patting tigers, feeding monkeys and riding longtail boats down the River Kwai. We walked over the "Bridge Over the River Kwai" and spent each breakfast and dinner looking out over the River. We tried all sorts of random local foods (their 'little bit spicy' is like our "HOLY HECK" spicy!!!! We also went to the Floating Markets.

The past week has been spent in Bangkok. Our hotel is close to the markets where we have spent many hours wandering aimlessly through corridors and shopping markets. The kids have had a great time picking out endless DVDs, DS games and playstation games. We went to Safari World where we saw lots of wild animals. Tigers, lions, elephants, buffalo, the list goes on and on. We fed giraffes up close and personal. I even got to cuddle an orangutan...very, very cute....have great photos. We also went to their version of Disney Land called Dream World. Not nearly as good as the one on the coast but a good day none the less. The twins had their 9th birthday there. We ate copious amounts of ice-cream and KFC that day!

Today we leave for Phuket. Hopefully I will be able to send you more updates from there. Hope you have been good for the 'Big Girls'. Miss You All Heaps. Mrs Dxx

PS Good Luck Chez...I know you will be beautiful...Dxx
