2016 Notice

As we say farewell to the 2015 dance year I would like to thank everybody for such a fabulous Concert. I realise it is a stressful time for all, however I am sure you can appreciate the satisfaction I have seeing it all come together so beautifully. The children were amazing and I am so proud of them as I'm sure are you.  I have such a great support team with Emma and Tammy and I can't thank them enough for all that they do.  I am trying to get a Timetable together for 2016 and as you can imagine trying to see into my Crystal Ball to know what classes I will need is extremely hard and then to try to accomodate for everyones specific days and times is almost impossible.  I really need everyone to write which classes they are going to do in the Green Enrolment Book. Please don't mark down a class you really have no intention on doing as sometimes I include a class only to find out no one was serious about doing that in the first place.  I will only include classes that have enough children to warrant same. Hoping that extra children will start next year won't be enough to include a class I don't already have the numbers for.  To make a class viable there needs to be at least 7 or 8 children.

BOWEN & COLLINSVILLE: Former Dee Jays student Elizabeth Cooper (who currently owns Collinsville Academy of Dance and is a High School teacher in Collinsville) has been transferred to a teaching position at St Catherine's for 2016.  So that her studio does not have to close, Dee Jays will take over the classes there with Miss Tammy driving out once a week to continue their classes.
Whilst numbers in Bowen are not great, I am continuing with two days a week there (one day with Tammy and one day with me) We are moving to the CWA Hall in 2016 to help with the ongoing rental costs and the move will provide a bigger room for the children to dance.  Stories sometimes get a little twisted when passed from person to person, so I would like to make it very clear that there WILL BE CLASSES IN BOWEN next year.  Your help in making this clear to the Bowen Community would be very much appreciated to create a positive vibe for 2016.
