Here is a great cause to get behind. Letia is a student at the Proserpine Studio and I am so proud of her achievements to date. The hard work that her mother Stacey and her family put into helping Letia enjoy everything we take for granted is inspiring to say the least.
A message from Letia's Mum.......

Letia and I are Fundraising for hear say, Loud Shirt Day 2014!! All money raised goes to An early intervention program for children who are deaf/hearing impaired and their families. The Centre uses cochlear implants/hearing aids combined with Auditory-Verbal Therapy to teach deaf children to listen and speak with clear natural language with the goal to fully integrate these children with the hearing community. Letia and I travel to Brisbane twice a year for auditory/visual assessments and lessons. We can't thank HEAR AND SAY enough with how far Letia has come. They finance our flights, accommodation, assessments and lessons we have while we are down there. So please help and give generously to not only Letia but other deaf kids to have the gift of sound. There will be a donation box at the Studio and a link will be provided for anyone who would like to donate on line. I can also be contacted through Facebook.
