At this time of year it seems all schools struggle with attendance. The delicate battle between "if you don't show up you are out" and putting up with almost anything so you don't lose students. Parents- help us by insisting that you child be in class as we set choreography for concert. Dancers- honour your commitment to us and stop signing up for and committing to things at the same time as your class. Teachers- hang in there- we understand that if you cut everyone that is absent they all get mad and you don't have a business next week. But we also understand that if you don't cut them you can't move forward with the ones that are there. Its a terrible cycle and we are all in it!
