WELL WHAT A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WE HAVE HAD!!! On Thursday Kelsey McCarthy auditioned for Ikin Dance on the Gold Coast.. a studio run by Anthony Ikin of So You Think You Can Dance fame. On Friday she was informed that she had been accepted into his Full Time course for 2011.
Then on Saturday Kelsey, along with Tia Griffiths and Shaana Connors did solo routines and interviews to audition for the Raw Dance full time course in Brisbane. All three girls got the call back for group auditions on Sunday. The class took almost 3 hours and covered Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary and Jazz. An outstanding result for the studio in that ALL THREE GIRLS WERE ACCEPTED. Kelsey will take the Raw Dance postition. This is the same course Emma Jago has been so successful with this year. Congratulations to all three girls...am very so very very proud....
I will post eisteddfod results in full from Townsville and Gladstone shortly...love Mrs Dx
