Granny Update

Hello everyone. Thought I would give you all an update on Granny. As most would know she hasn't been feeling great for some time and we have been waiting for a call to have an Urgent Angeogram? done in Townsville. Unfortunately paperwork had been misplaced in Mackay and her referral never made it to Townsville. On Tuesday afternoon, she suffered a heart attack and whilst there has been no permanent damage done to the heart muscle it was a pretty scary time for us all. She is still in the Prossy hospital and news this morning was that she will be flown to Townsville on Sunday and have the angeogram done on Monday. She will stay in hospital here until the flight out) Should the blockages be minor, she have stents done on Monday. If however the damage to her arteries is major I would suppose she will need more bypasses done. Classes will continue as normal and if I am not available, the senior girls will take over. I hope you will bear with me during this time of uncertainty ...cheers for now Mrs Dx
